So.. Two things I noticed in my travels to areas I don't normally go by today..
1) The old Holiday Inn @ I-85 (Later a Quality Inn, I believe) has reopened as a Comfort Inn
I'm shocked by this one to be frank. The images I had seen, I thought the building was too far gone. But.. That is a solid building. The roof collapsed.. So, they had to repair that, then all the water damage. But the bones of that building are solid concrete.. I suppose that's what saved it... i just thought, even though the structure was solid and sound.. The damage inside was just too great.
I *THINK* the restaurant is open as well, but not positive about that.
2) There's a fireworks store apparently right beside the old Mrs Firecrackers Place. Not sure if it was just a pop-up store or something permanent.
I noticed " A Deal Time " is going in next to Camelot Cinemas at McAlister Square. I guess this is one of those Amazon/Mail order returns wholesale type places.

Thought that was a dollar store type place? Isn't there one of those in the Big Lots center down in Simpsonville?
