I love them. It was just that little extra that gives the place more of the WOW-factor. I did buy others but they were more expensive than these are and not as heavy. I sent them back.

Those are very nice! I also install my own switch plates wherever I'm living for a unique personal touch.

I don’t know how many pages back I posted this, but worthy of a repost I believe.

I put two of these into my HVAC units 3 years ago. I installed three more recently for my neighbors. Aside from the health benefits (more so today than 3 years ago), the overall air quality in our home has been nothing less than excellent ever since (along with regular air filter changes and using the good filters). Ever since I installed, when one gets sick the others rarely catch it now (have kids). Before, that was not the case for many years. They are super easy to install, and the bulbs last about 3 years (constantly on). Barely adds $20 to the overall yearly electric bill.

The other item that I have sworn by for the past several years - hardwood floor cleaning machines. Either the Bissell Crosswave or Hoover Floormate. I’ve had both, and like the Bissell better. I have seen it enough times to say with absolute confidence - mopping does not touch how well these things can clean and disinfect your floor. I’ve seen neighbors borrow mine right after their maid service mopped their floor - and the dirty water that comes up into the container looks like coffee every time. Every single person who has borrowed mine, immediately bought one of their own, and they too now swear by them. Look up Bissell Crosswave on Amazon, read the reviews and more importantly look at the user posted pictures. They have a cordless version now too. I have both a cordless and a corded. Cordless results are about 90% of the corded version. I use a splash of BONA hardwood floor cleaner with a splash of Lysol disinfectant cleaner in the mixture of warm water. Truly amazing results each and every time for the past many years (started with the Hoover Floormate in 2014).

Thought of this thread this morning and it's been almost a month since a post.......bumping.
I do appreciate the recommendations; sorry I have nothing at the moment to contribute.

The only things I’ve bought lately are two more “smart human” plugs for the Alexa, and I set up an auto ship, online furnace filter delivery. One more thing I won’t have to remember to do on time anymore.

1. You have a cleaner butthole.
2. You don't suffer from toilet paper abrasion on your anal orifice.
3. You reduce toilet paper usage by over 60%.
4. You use a lot less chemical toilet cleaning agents.

Worth every bit of the $2000.
You can buy a lot of toilet paper for $2000.

We have a Toto Washlet also, but it only cost $250. I wonder what the actual difference is?

Ceiling fans

Rocker type light switches.

A motion sensor light switch in the bathroom. It stays on for 1 minute after I leave so that I can get back in bed.

Lever handle door locks instead of knobs.

Single lever water faucets.

Honeywell AirGenius 5 Air Purifier:
https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-18...r-purifier.jsp

I got a good deal on it from Kohl's two weeks ago when it was selling for $249 with at 30% off coupon with Kohl's Charge, $30 Kohl's Cash, and $50 rebate (although my rebate hasn't been processed yet). According to SlickDeals the 30% off coupon will return in early May; time will tell if it will go on sale for $249 and if there will be a new rebate offer (the current rebate offer is a separate offer from the one I applied for, which was for purchases made before April 11 and postmarked before May 11). However, right now they are offering $60 Kohl's Cash.
