I like Divine Design and then Curb Appeal. Why did HGTV change the airing time of Divine Design? From what I understood, it was the most popular show on HGTV.

Default agree

Do they ask these people to make these rude comments or are people really this insensitive? I have heard comments that are so demeaning I would never associate with people like this.

I'll watch any show where they're remodeling a kitchen or a bathroom. I like to see the before and after. I'm sick of the real estate shows and I don't like things that are turned into a competition.

These people deserve it. They're trying to sell they're home and have no luck because the home is cluttered or trapped in the 70's.

I really like Property Virgins, but sometimes Sandra bugs me. For example a couple will have a budget of $200K, and have a $20K down payment. She quickly says "OK, so you are OK to spend $220K then, right?" And when they say no, that they would prefer to only spend $200K, putting the $20K towards that with a final mortgage of $180K, she looks at them as if they are crazy, and grills them on how much more house they could get for that extra $20K.
To me that is the kind of thinking that got a lot of people into trouble in the real estate mess of the last couple years- people try to be responsible and this is how she treats that choice?

Yes I really liked that show. It was like a mini soap opera where the seller's lives were laid bear. Now I like Selling New York and Homles on Homes. Homles shows the danger of remodeling when you hire bad contractors. The show is located in Canada though.

I think one of the reasons I liked it so much was there wan't always a happy ending. Sometimes the house didn't sell. Definitely seemed like the least fake show on HGTV.
