Im not familiar with his fan base of festivals where pop stars and rappers play, but Im extremely family with metal festivals that do attract 10s of thousands of people in Europe and parts of the US and stuff like that never happens even in cases of delay or cancellation.
I was going to ask if the rap fanbase was sociopathic, but selfish and unreasonable is a better way to put it.

It's not rap fans either because there are plenty of rap shows where the artist has stopped it to assist someone in the crowd. This is more a Zoomer issue. A whole generation who have grown up being told the world was ending soon and all they know is technology. See post #128: https://www.city-data.com/forum/62276380-post128.html

Crud........I attended a executive talk thing in Dallas last week. Much of the discussion was about how many people ~25 and especially younger are essentially damaged goods as a cadre per previous standards. The guy mentioned a bunch of things those that really caught my ear were astonishingly high levels of self-reported mental illness (that's a millennial thing too), general inability to accept business style professional criticism and a growing disdain for formal education among Gen Z males.

Well, it didn't take long
San Antonio-based lawyer Thomas J. Henry representing Astroworld plaintiff suing Travis Scott, Drake
Shortly after news broke of the loss of eight lives in the Houston melee at Astroworld, the festival with high-octane sets presented and headlined by rapper Travis Scott, San Antonio-based personal injury lawyer Thomas J. Henry announced free consultations for victims of the mass casualty incident or their families.
An Austin resident is the first publicized client to lawyer up with the prominent attorney.
He's seeking more than $1 million in bodily injuries and medical costs and claims some of his injuries are permanent.

Now this I can agree on. I found Gen Z and some Millennials to be very hypocritical on things like spending, cultural relationships, and the environment.

Maybe next year they'll add a mobile triage unit, or at least an adequate medical staff.
