the market activity has kept me interested in checking daily.
As of 18 Dec 23, monthly gains are higher than my highest annual salary, so... pulling off some cream for future needs - to replace carpet and heating system
Probably should set up a 'cash flow generation system' just to pay massively increased property taxes and insurance.
Currently been using rental income, which is transitioning to owner finance mortgages @ 7-8% (My bond equivalent portion of investments). but... That does not have an inflation adder, as did income properties.
Future is now RED,but one never know what tomorrow will bring?
It seems everyone agrees the market will go higher ,small stock will even go up 50%.
No one seems to care the Middle East Conflct is spreading, more countries are now involved and we and Israel are the bad guys?
Did someone try to ram his car into the SUVs circling Biden's limo?
This week Barrons, someone said if everyone thinks it is going to be fine, then who else is left to say otherwise?

Retire at what age? Based on incremental adds.
Could take awhile.
That's ok if you have the time. Just got another phone call of a very good friend's death. Second in 3 days.
Stuff happens that you can't predict or change.
The friend who died last night, dad died while he was cleaning his desk after his retirement luncheon. Had worked for 2 pensions just finished building the dream house on the lake (by hand). He was all set!, then... he was gone. Life and markets, and the Merry-go-round, keeps on spinning, whether we're on it, or not. Stepping off has it's+/-. But you must wait to rejoin the party. Or to even get on the bus. Which one will you take, where will it lead?
