Well, woke up this morning to one of our a/c units blowing nothing but warm air. Fortunately, we have a home warranty so it will only cost $60 to fix or replace whatever's broken. Even more fortunately, we have three separate units, so we still have two running to keep the house cool.

One of my neighbors who knows how to open my door even if it is locked came into my bedroom while I was at the Dr Yesterday and stole a bunch of cash
Not a big deal just the privacy breach. I would have given it to him if he asked. This is Jack the man that lives in the church. Dang

My Dad is from South Dakota and his family all talk like the people in the movie Fargo. His grandparents came here from Norway and my dad's dad was born on the ship on the trip here. My mom's side is German, but I definately take after my dads side in more ways.
Now with the combo of Norwegian and German, you'd expect me to a blue eyed blonde, right? Yeah, I have almost black hair, green eyes, and olive skin. My dad always said it's the Vikings...they spent time in Spain and whatnot, right? Who knows where they went!

ElleTea, yeah, according to a certain travel guide in Seattle (who is a Norvegian) the Nord-skis were, umm, quite adventurous, as well as dern-right brutal in their wargames.
I also heard they could build a mean boat as well.

Well the A/C guy just left my house after putting a new motor and some freon into the malfunctioning unit. He told me that the service call & parts would have cost me just under $400 if I hadn't had the home warranty. This service alone just about covered most of the cost of the annual warranty.
Last year, among other service calls, I received a check for over $2700 because my combination wall oven/microwave partially malfunctioned and they couldn't repair it. Having a home warranty has definitely been worthwhile for me.
