Being afraid of change is normal. Very normal. You have read all the testimonies. Good and bad. Look past the fear and really get into yourself and ask yourself if you really want to MOVE there. Maybe just go back and visit for a while.

Understand though, while there is no rush and you are very young...a lot of people wait and meanwhile life kicks in and time passes and they never get around to following that dream. That's ok too, because sometimes that life choice is great too...but I hate to see you regret not doing it, if it is truly what you want to do.

I, personally, won't begrudge you either way....don't beat yourself up.
Very well said, better than I could I have done.

Let's hope Davie keeps this soap opera going as he writes about his travels and experiences as a young kid with dreams of living his dream!!!!

I looked at a map, it sure is a long way from florida to Las Vegas! I'm amazed at thedistances americans travel to start a new life. Here in England you're never far fromwhere you started! If you started at Dover at the bottom of England, only 20 miles from France, and drove to the very top of Scotland, you could do it in about 11 hours. We English find the size of America quite incredible.I looked at a map, it sure is a long way from florida to Las Vegas! Davie is going to drive 800 miles a day with two hotel stays along the way. It is a 2,400 mile trip. He will arrive at my condo late Sunday night. I can bet he will be very tired. I myself once drove from Chicago to Phoenix non stop, but I would not advise Davie to do something like that.
