Meh. If she wins by one vote she still wins.
Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.
I’m not familiar at all with Jersey politics but did that guy deliver on any of his “wake-up call” promises? Or was it just campaign night rhetoric and then back to business as usual?
I know with Hochul, all these last minute desperate “proposals” and “on the tables” are just vote bribing, and as soon as she wins it all goes out the window.

Can’t wait until the filibuster which most dems have been trying to get rid of for months will all of a sudden become the best thing ever! after the GOP retakes congress

The point is that the prior challenges by democrats were not even close to 2020, to claim that they were equal is truly partisan. There are a few hundred republican candidates that are running that still believe the election was stollen and many want legislatures to have the ability to overturn elections. Dangerous territory for democracy.

Like robots. Or perhaps parrots. No critical thinking. Just blindly go with whatever they are programmed to believe.

I still would never vote for Hochul.
Or any Democrat for that matter.
So one hand you claim there is no critical thinking then you indicated you would vote for anyone other than Hochul, pretty much the problem in politics. Be careful how you accuse people of lacking critical thinking skills.

Why on earth do folks think Newsday is a liberal rag?

Is it because they consistently spout the party line and consistently endorse the party nominees?

Hillary has consistently and dangerously claimed, without evidence, that the Russians stole the election for Trump in 2016.

Republican Glenn Youngkin (Virginia) went up against a professional election denier (Terry McAuliff) and roundly defeated him for the 2021 Governor's race.

McAuliffe has tried to tie Youngkin to former President Donald Trump’s denial of the results of the 2020 presidential election. But McAuliffe has spent nearly two decades claiming the 2000 presidential election was stolen from Democrat Al Gore, arguing the Supreme Court tampered with the results. At the 2004 Democratic National Convention, McAuliffe delivered a quote indistinguishable from Trump: “We actually won the last presidential election, folks, they stole the last presidential election.”

Many Virginia Democrats did support the dangerous election denier (Terry McAuliffe) in the 2021 campaign.

Name the candidates they should have endorsed, Mangano, Blakeman, Santino, Skelos? They just endorsed Garbarino.

She claimed that Russia interfered in our election, that is backed up by the senate intelligence committee. She immediately conceded the election, no lawsuits, no riot on Jan 6, never called Secretaries of State looking for votes. Peaceful transfer of power as is the case in every election until Jan 6.

This is obvious Russian disinformation. As is Hunter’s laptop. And Joe’s cognitive decline.
