I've said it before and I'll say it again in every thread about E. Meadow... I grew up on Kalda La. down the block from the elementary school, and I never heard anyone refer to the neighborhood as "Barnum Woods" unless they were a real estate agent, we just called the school/park that. "Meadowbrook side" and "Wantagh side" with E.M. Ave down the middle in neutral territory, that's how we divided the neighborhood, because the place was so big people east of Newbridge often weren't familiar with anything west of Merrick or vice-versa.
