Not only that - nobody was even talking about Dedham before she brought it up. Dedham used to be home to a lot of wealthy people. There are still some, but certainly that's not how I'd position the town as a whole. The comparison to Norwood I think is apt. Dedham is a bit more urbanized, but otherwise I'd say they're both solidly middle-tier towns. Some nice areas, some crummy areas, overall fine, but not brag-worthy or elite (for those that care).

They were calling you out for knocking Dedham in one sentence but then asking why people were bashing trailer parks in another.

That's just not a true statement and totally a perception of your personal bias.

I'm not saying Westwood isn't nice, it is...just not sure I'd call the whole town posh.
Huh?

Precinct 1 in Dedham is old old money. The Dedham Country Club (which predates Westwood by about 10 years) is also very posh. Westwood is not universally wealthy (and neither is Newton), but the prices are such that new residents have to be well-to-do. I know some older residents who are working class.
Near Lamberts Rainbow market and the Tile factory.
