They move away from family for good job offers. That's something completely different than what we're talking about.

And you still haven't told us where these people should go, how they'd come up with the money to move and get settled, and how/why their situation would be better elsewhere.

How is a 19 year old single mother (deadbeat dad situation) going to benefit from moving? She stays here and she can work 60 hours a week and barely get by while her sister or mother watches her kid.

You want her to move to Cleveland. She can't work there because there's nobody to watch her kid...and she obviously can't afford daycare.

Just face it, many of the people are staying because they state will basically give them money to live here. They are unmotivated to do anything else about their situation. Why would they move if it's possible they could get section 8? Instead of them having their own pride, they stay.

I mean it's quite privileged that anyone can say, oh i can't leave because I have family here so...I'm sitting around waiting for free housing now. Not everyone GETS that option and they are forced to move.
You want 40,000 people to move. Maybe 40,000 people want you to move?

The thousands of migrants managed to make it all the way here without $ to move. I'd say someone could find a way easily enough to move to another state.
