Talk about a terrible location:

Yes, it is Coolidge Corner but it is right around the corner from the busiest part of Coolidge Corner. Never quiet in that part of town. I cannot imagine anyone paying that much to live in that part of town but I am sure someone will.

At least it has 2 covered garage parking spots.....I'd hate lugging groceries and bundles up to that unit though. I guess if someone has almost $4M for that, they should also have plenty for an assistant to do their grocery shopping too so maybe it's a non issue!

FWIW I wouldn't want a house that close to power lines either. I see people buying 4m homes stacked on top of each other and I wouldn't want choose that either. Different strokes

That building looks like a concrete and glass hellscape. How far of a walk is it to those trees in the distant background?

There’s a short sale in Wilmington, pretty decent price.

I wouldn't consider $525K for a half house/condex a decent price, esp. when it says buyer is responsible to deal with all the personal belongings left behind! Roof looks like it's due for replacing too.

Also, these owners have had a history of nonpayment of taxes and multiple instruments of taking filed against them going back to 2013...maybe longer...didn't look further. So, can you imagine the deferred maintenance this place must have since they couldn't afford to pay their taxes....how could they afford to do the maintenance?!

Yeah I didn't notice it is only a half of the house.

If there is no HOA, I wonder how people arrange the maintenance. What if one half of the house looks new and the other half is crappy. It would look very weird.

It could also be a hoarder house. No pictures of the inside is a huge red flag, especially with:

"Please do not assume anything about the property or the process. The property will not be completly void of all personal items, any items left behind will be the responsibility of buyer to remove."

It does look rather ugly. There used to be a nice Japanese restaurant in that location. Very busy part of Green Street just a few steps from Harvard Street. The trees are about 2 or 3 blocks down. As you get to the other end of Green Street it is a lovely neighborhood of older Victorian homes.

How about this place in Sturbridge. I like the look of the place... but I'm guessing 930k all the way out in Sturbridge isn't gonna fly. They did get someone to bite but they backed out. Property taxes might be kinda high... already 12k and that's at 677k assessment. 229 DOM.
