Memories is a pretty good place Has anyone eaten at the Pizza Patio? I went to the dog park yesterday and saw (past 10th street) on the right hand side a new? Italian restaurant.

I haven't gotten around to that one yet. I also got a flyer with the paper yesterday....Gigi's Pizza. I have never eaten at one of those either, and don't know whether or not it is a chain.

I think my next stop will be at Alamo Grill. I hope it's good.....but I'll let you know my take on it when I try it...as well as Pizza Patio.

There is also a Mexican seafood (??) little hole in the wall restaurant on South White Sands that got my attention the other day....it looked closed, but there was a lighted OPEN sign in the window!

Hmm it seems like no one has ever eaten at Pizza Patio. I guess we just have to go ourselves and check it out, huh

We ate there a week ago while during our house hunting trip. We did not have pizza but sandwiches. The were very good and worthy of a return trip. Judy had the Philly and I had the pastrami.

On a different note we did hit the Plateau Expresso, very good but we probably enjoyed the Jamocha Bean in Cloudcroft a little better.

Guess I'll throw my opinion in here.
Breakfast? The western in Cloudcroft, Margos, Our Country Kitchen.
Pizza or Subs? Pizza Mill and Sub Factory on 10th across from the Library.
BBQ and Catfish. Spring Mountain between Alamo and Cloudcroft. He will be open again in mid April.

Default Alamo Grill.......OMG!!!!

Well, I had a hard workout session this morning, and a few errands, so I stopped by Alamo Grill after finishing up at Home Depot.

I think I died and went to heaven......

The menu is pretty extensive, and has something for everyone, from breakfast to dinner.

The breakfast menu has the standard items...as well as Mexican breakfast items.

There are steaks, chicken, chicken fried steak......a seafood menu, hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, soups, salads...AND a Mexican food menu, both seafood and regular fare.

I had shrimp fajitas......four huge Gulf prawns, well-seasoned, that arrived on a HOT stainless steak platter, with a generous side of refried beans and ample portions of green/red peppers and onions....a side plate of guacamole, cheese and real sour cream. Two fresh flour tortillas were also included....

My chips arrived thin, crispy and hot....along with a delicious red salsa with somewhat of a kick, since I asked for hotter if they had it. It was chip-dipping at its best...and I just feasted!!!

What I had was on a par with Casa de Sueños in Tulie, at least today.....they will do very well if the food is that good all of the time!!!!

So....now Alamogordo has a place to get great Mexican food...I asked the waitress where the chef was from.....Mexico....so that explains a lot!!!

YUUUUUUUUUUMMMY.

Cathy, glad you found good food down there.

Looks like I might be sending DH down for a visit and check out Alamo - possibly the end of April.

We are both tired of the COLD winters - and I can handle looking at snow on the mountains, but am tired of driving in it!

Default Alamo Grill

Cathy,
If you approve I am sure Kent will like it... The hotter the better for him.
We may have to do lunch in a few weeks
