What if you get a bonus from work that put your total income above the maximum, can you make an appeal given that the bonus is not a guaranty every year, mostly a one time thing. Also, anybody knows if you can use your stocks losses to bring down your overall income?

If you are over the income by $1 they will most likely disqualify you unfortunately.

You'll have to provide proof that it is a one off thing. This has happened to me. They called my office to speak to my boss several times but in the end my application was approved by BG.
i'm not too sure about stock losses.

Speaking of community board preference...why is 524 East 14th Street having a lottery but not posting a Community board preference on their posting? Shouldn't it be have a preference for the Community Board 3 residents?

NYS has done away with community preferences. But NYC-funded developments still have it.
