What's with all the Newark hate!? (sorry LuLu! )

Newark: Pronounced New New York with a sly E. Not to be confused with the old school pronunciation of Newark as NORK (like terlet for toilets and earl for Oil). I might be losing my marbles, but I think these housing lotteries deserve a bit of ridicule and scrutiny, but moreso laughter. Laughter is the only thing that truly keeps humans from wanting to scratch each others' eyes out for our meager resources (aka VAST resources, but we are afraid of sharing... learnt from an early age across all income strata).

Well, folks, my appeal was denied by BG. Even though it wasn't the result I wanted, I'm honestly impressed I got a response that quickly! Hopefully this bodes well for those of you still in the process since it seems like they're really trying to meet their November deadline. I'll appeal to HDC, cause after 6 months of this, why not go all the way? But for now it looks like my husband has won the war and we will be looking for a house in the suburbs. I guess I will concede to learning to drive but I draw the line at Newark, Aquarius!
Ah, Lulu, what? A decision /denial in 24 hours? uh, yeah - definitely appeal with HDC!

Im sorry though

P.S. Keep fighting!! Nooooooo to suburbs
