All I know & care about is that the affordable units are responsible for the tax benefits that the developers are receiving. And not one rental unit is occupied. And at this point they may never be.
dont be discouraged guys, there are probably tons of gray areas when it comes to the affordable process with this bldg because they took advantage of that loophole that made it ok for them to separate the affordable apartments...
it may be taking a while but i'm sure you guys will be moving in before the end of the year.
keep in mind that my log # was 16,000+ and i was just contacted to interview, so they are still in the process...

Has everyone in this thread who is anxiously waiting for some updates signed forms to be sent off to HPD or have they not yet reached that point in the process? Will HPD approve on applications for buildings that have not yet received a TCO?

No, we haven't even signed the forms to send our files o HPD yet. There is a TCO for this building (has been for more than 3 months, so that won't be an issue. In general though, I don't think they normally send files to HPD before the TCO is issued.
i don't think the building owner wants any of us poor people around the building while the millionaires are signing their condo agreements, so maybe we are just going to have to wait until all that's done.
