Low income housing can’t deny you for having a low credit score only. There has to be that and another reason or else they are not supposed to deny you. Do some research. Good luck to all who’s waiting.
I find it a bit strange that they still didn't check your credit, especially you were interviewed in March. But no one reported getting their credit pulled before May and May just started so, stay alert.
I find it a bit strange too. Last time I spoke with them, they mentioned that the background/credit check will be done within 1 to 2 months but it has been a little over 2 months. I also called on-site.com and they checked their system but said that they don't have my application on file.
I'm so nervous but trying hard to remain optimistic! lol
Do you think they are waiting to finish all interviews first before they pull everyone's credit?
They have already started to run credit and background checks, as some have reported (including myself). They are also still interviewing applicants in May - so two different processes happening simultaneously. From all that is happening now - it is not clear exactly what specific order they are following to run credit/background checks.
