Low income housing can’t deny you for having a low credit score only. There has to be that and another reason or else they are not supposed to deny you. Do some research. Good luck to all who’s waiting.

I spoke with them today and they said decisions will not be made until October-November. So far awayyy! 5-6 more months of waiting

I find it a bit strange too. Last time I spoke with them, they mentioned that the background/credit check will be done within 1 to 2 months but it has been a little over 2 months. I also called on-site.com and they checked their system but said that they don't have my application on file.

I'm so nervous but trying hard to remain optimistic! lol

I just went to my interview 2 days ago and came back to submit some more papers. Now just[ waiting to hear back. Currently seeking a 1 bedroom

oh wow - that is far. I would of thought they would let you know in a couple of weeks atleast and have move in days in the fall

well that's good news to me
credit is at 630 now
by the time they run my credit it will be at 750 again.
hope this time i don't buy anything lol

They have already started to run credit and background checks, as some have reported (including myself). They are also still interviewing applicants in May - so two different processes happening simultaneously. From all that is happening now - it is not clear exactly what specific order they are following to run credit/background checks.
