Question- if you accept the apartment offered in the lottery- is it possible to be placed on a waitlist within the complex for a larger unit- or one with 2 bathrooms?
Unfortunately not, though you could apply to any future lotteries and move if you preferred the new offer.
Congrats Chloe! That's awesome!! Now that you received yours I feel better saying my partner and I signed our lease last night! November move in. Hi neighbors
Thank you! Happy to see our forum friends getting in as well, congrats!
Congrats, Chloe! I think you'll like the Oval location, in the heart of Stuy Town.
Also, even though the living room is not large, you'll find that the area outside the kitchen is really usable space. Most people put a dining table there; I also have a piano. You can also fit bookcases, a hutch for dishes, a small desk, whatever.
Congrats to all of the Graduates! I hadn't checked this thread in a few months but, I see plenty of movement. I've been loving Stuytown for the past 8 months, fellow residents even got me ready for the NYC Marathon in a few weeks!

I am moving this week and I saw the running club on the calendar. This is definitely something I want to try. I used to run many moons ago and I want to start again. Good luck with the marathon!!!

Everyone runs here. I hadn’t run in 6months and on Saturday I did a quick 5k… I feel that living here will motivate me to run on a regular basis….
I am already looking into signing up to some 10k races…
