Hi everyone,
Today I’ve finally received my email to request my documents.
I’m in late 1200’s and applying for 1bd just for me.
Do you think it will take less time knowing that it’s just for me?? How long does it usually take for the process??
Also, I work 5 min from ST, should I submit the docs via email and in person??
From what I understand you can go there in person on Thursdays. Do you meet the person who will take care of your application??
Thank you!
I would follow the directions in your doc request email. The specialist are all working remotely from home. My process took only 3 weeks (from submission of docs to receiving an offer) but for others in the thread it has taken months. So I think it really depends on numerous factors.
Can the people who were excepted for one bedroom say your approx monthly rent and like what your approx income is? I know its personal but I just wanna know if they are following the HDC income guidelines or just doing their own thing. I suspect that they are offering the peeps with higher income ranges first, but im unsure.

So my friend was approved earlier than myself and her income is the bottom of the range $42k and she was offered a $1700. My income range is $55k ish and I was approved $1700. So it depends unit not your income which is strange. Someone was approved for PCV unit $1500 but I think it’s because even though the units are large they are very far from transportation and just like with market rate units making them less desirable.

To add, my income is materially higher than 55k and was offered 1,700 rent. I can almost say with 99.9% certainty the rent you get has nothing to do with your income. It's purely based on the unit itself because on the lease it tells you what rent the previous tenant was paying, how much they spent to renovate, and the resulting legally allowed rent increase because of the renovations

So she's actually a friend of a friend but I believe her income is about 80k. But i believe she moved with her boyfriend so Im assuming his income was included. Not sure how much he makes.
