Do they check your credit before giving an offer? I got my offer and had to pay the $20 fee after so I was under the impression they were checking background and credit after you signed the lease
I have no clue. I didn’t ask any questions. I was so happy that my specialist informed me that she was done reviewing my file and that she passed it down to the leasing…
Given that you said it took you 3 weeks to get an offer after your review was finalized. I will only stress if in 3 weeks I don’t hear anything… wish me luck!

Lol my comment got chopped bc I used a shamrock emoji. The rest of it is here:
3 weeks seems like a reasonable timeframe for that. For what it’s worth, our request for add’l documents came exactly one month after the first processing request.
I am exactly 4 weeks from the date I was told my file was waiting for an offer from leasing for a 2 bedroom. Again as others have said I think it is different based on each specialist!

did you call today? I won't call until next week (my every 2 weeks rule). If you find out more about what's happening when our file gets to leasing, could you keep us posted please? If I find out before you, I will also let you know.
For those who recently got an offer does it come from a Stuytown email or beam living? I would hate to miss the email. At this point I am even checking my junk emails...
I am beyond ecstatic. I received an offer today for a 2 bedroom on Stuyvesant oval. 932 sq feet under 2100/month, perfect for me and my son. I got an offer last month for a one bedroom and after some deliberation I decided to plead my case for them to switch my application to a two bedroom. I thought for sure I would be waiting forever and then I open my email today and it was like the sky opened up and a ray of sunshine landed on me lol My log number is from the 2018 lottery
Ohhh CONGRATULATIONS! I can feel your joy and am so happy to know they were receptive to you!
I got an email June 13th to submit the paperwork as I was shocked to get emailed since I was number 76##, but I received an email from my specialist that I am on the waitlist for the one bedroom. I feel discouraged because I know that it will be a year or more to be called for the 1 bedroom. Has anyone with this high of a log number has been called.
Wow, I’m log #56xx and I have yet to be placed on the waitlist for a 1 bed

I didn’t call today! I have been calling or emailing since the 15 every 2-3 days and no responses. I was told to call by the 15 if I didn’t get an offer. I am completely confused about the process but I sure will let you know if I hear anything else. I may call Monday if I don’t hear anything.
