Chloe and TPNYC… our log is very close and I have Ms Pryce.
She finally sent my paperwork yesterday for the last step ( credit check- leasing) and she is no longer my specialist. She emailed me again this morning. If that could be of a little reassurance, she will probably get to your log very soon.
My current lease expired august 31st and I renewed… I am not too worried. If I get an offer soon, I will deal with my management… it would be ideal if I could move before September 1st… my son’s school is walking distance to Stuytown.
Thanks. I think Chloe and I are very very close. Hopefully I will get an email this week. Did you get an offer yet with the exact rent amount?
I am so happy your son's school is so close. My son's school is Uptown but it is very close to my job. My commute will improve significantly and he can have friends in the building (my son is going to 4th grade)

Not yet. The leasing as to run my credit. Once they are ready to run it, it will take them 3 days to get the results and than you know how they move… they will probably take their time before making an offer.
If I am lucky I will have an offer next week.

Called yesterday to check if my paperwork had been received, I was told Ms. Pryce is my specialist and that I would get an email from her by the end of the day yesterday. I have not yet gotten any email from her communicating my paperwork has been received. So... I'm not holding my breath, but if they are also going by log and income, I have a lower income so who knows what or when something will happen.

I am so confused about this process! I was told last month that they reviewed my paperwork and that the credit had been reviewed. I was literally told if you don’t get an email from the credit company ( O something I thing) in the next 24 hours this mean you are good to go and only waiting for an offer. I had called 48 hours after that message and my specialist told me I was all cleared and final review was done.
I got an email June 13th to submit the paperwork as I was shocked to get emailed since I was number 76##, but I received an email from my specialist that I am on the waitlist for the one bedroom. I feel discouraged because I know that it will be a year or more to be called for the 1 bedroom. Has anyone with this high of a log number has been called.

Is stuytownLOTTERY.com governed exactly like Housing Connect 2?

There does seem to be two lotteries going on at StuyTown, the 2021, and an earlier one. With different income price points. This makes for complexity that is hard to follow. Also, it might be due to the unique circumstances of Stuyvesant Town and Peter Copper Village’s agreement with the City that exceptions to The Marketing Handbook have been allowed. One remarkable difference between a typical lottery and StuyTown, at least for the 2021 lottery, is the applications are made directly to StuyTown and not to Housing Connect/HDC.

This is a great example of how arbitrary the process is - you were 76xx and were contacted to apply June 13th. I was 70xx and received the email June 29th.

Why are you confused? Your credit have been checked and you are just waiting for an offer. As of this morning, my credit wasn’t checked yet. I have to wait for my credit to be checked before getting an offer. They might have ran my credit now.

Are you also going for a one bedroom? This whole process has been poorly done.

No 2 bedroom - that may be the difference I suppose. But that means they'd be separating the 1 and 2 bedroom applications and so why ask us what we were looking for?
