Thank you! I'm wondering if there's any hope for me with a log #8XXX. I'd hope they wouldn't reach out if they knew there wasn't a shot. I'm a solo parent and grew up in the area, so this would be life-changing, but I'm very skeptical.
I see there are some questions about the neighborhood/public schools. I went to schools in Districts 1 and 2 where a lot of stuytown kids went, so if anyone has questions feel free to DM!
Of course I have no idea as I am waiting too, both skeptical and hopeful… but I would guess you do have a shot if your number has been called. It’s wild to me how fast they’re going through the log numbers (for comparison, we are #68xx and went to final review last week)—but easy to imagine that many, many people decide not to follow through, or they don’t see the email. I am glad to hear it didn´t take long after Ms. Pryce revised your docs. I am going to call her tomorrow and hopefully she is done with my docs. I sent a new school letter fro my son today because mine was aged out and I sent new savings account statement as well.

June 29th, received an email, "ready to process your application."
July 11th: emailed all the required documentation
July 14th: received an email asking for the size of the unit (2 bedroom I requested), if I had any pets and how many people would be applying. (2 people)
Email also mentioned they have low inventory on 1 and 3 bedrooms, and I would be on a waiting list if I wanted these units. They currently processing two beds apps!
The same day, I received a confirmation email from Stuytown "I will contact you once am ready to view your file. (We go in chronological order)"
Today is July 20th; no response yet! just crossing my fingers that this doesn't take longer than three months
August 4th: just received an email saying I was missing two bank statements, and I sent it right away! My leasing specialist Skylar informed me my app would be submitted for one final review and background check!
Am so freakkingg happy!! I manifested this would come, and I am so happy to be moving on to the next step!
I received an offer yesterday for a 2 bedroom in PCV!!!!!!!! I will be around 23rd street and 1 st Ave
Apt size: 2 bedroom 2 bath. Rent is slightly under 2K (in line with 35% guideline). I move at the end of august!! I am so excited
Timeframe for reference
6/14 ready to process application email
6/22 submitted all docs
6/27 resubmitted some docs
6/28 final review completed
8/1 apt offer
I just want to add that the leasing agent is an absolute delight and when you reach that point you will forget all about the roller coaster of emotions you just experienced.
@Family0609, were you given more than one apartment option? I would lovveee to have the PCV 2 bed/2 bath layout if given the opportunity.
