Then on 9/19 I received an offer from Susan. There was zero communication between. So I think it just depends, but once Susan contacts you she stays in touch until the process is complete.

My entire proceed started with request for docs on 7/1 - offer on 9/19 - so that’s 79 days start to finish

Hope this is in some way helpful! Good luck!

Thanks Rose, that's very helpful! It's 90 days for us since request for docs so fingers crossed the stars align and we are nearing the endgame.

I meant approved and added to the waitlist to receive an offer.

Hi friends,
For the people already with apartments, I highly recommend to joining the StuyTown Tenants Association. It is only $50 per year and they are the ones fighting laws anti-rent stabilization.

Good luck to all the ones waiting for an offer. Your offer is coming.

Hello all! For those who have already moved in or are planning (@yaya24?) did you use that “updated” app and is it required to move in? I keep getting these “last chance” emails to complete my profile, but I am still in Europe and haven’t settled on my move in details…is using this service required? Thanks everyone!

Hi I am moving in next Saturday and even if I filled up everything weeks ago, I still didn't have confirmation up until min ago. I just called the welcome center right now and they finally approved the time slot I requested.
I only fill up the moved.com link as this is something that Susan mentions once you accept the offer. I feel up only the required part. COI of the movers-apt keys pick up etc...
I did not feel anything recommended ( renter insurance etc...).
What out for emails that say Stuytown but that are actually not affiliated with Stuytown such as updater that tell you to take renters insurance etc...

My advice to you would be to take 5 min to fill up the moved.com link and you should be good and if they don't confirm with you that elevator will be ready for your move in day, just call them like I did. They can pull up your form and confirm right away but fill it 1st.
When are you moving in?

I am moving October 22 and I got moved .com link a couple of days after I sent the payment. I only filled up the reserve and move date link for the elevator and the key pick up link with my picture. You might get email from The Oval offering concierge and package storage services but this is optional.

Thank you both so much! I had not distinguished the moved.com link from the emails from “updated” and they are relentless!

@yaya I don’t yet have my move in date settled. I received notice of my offer the day I arrived in Europe, so had no idea and no preparation prior to leaving! I feel like I will be starting from scratch when I return to the States in a couple of weeks so will end up picking up the keys, seeing my space, then making a plan. Fortunately, I don’t have a lease to break so not feeling too pressured, just eager!

How come you don’t have your move in date? Didn’t you sign your lease yet?
