You won the lottery within the lottery. I hope it's everything you desire!

Congrats Cuseorange! Would you mind sharing whereabouts the location is? Closer to 1st ave or ave c. Just shocked how great the price is on rent. Also what is the end range of your move in date, end of October seems really soon.

Sure! It’s on 20th street and Avenue A — the end of the range to start my lease is Oct 25. I’m honestly not sure how I got such a good price range, I don’t think the location is too inconvenient, it’s right at the edge and also near a bus stop, but maybe it’s dependent on the proximity to the oval? Idk. I was asking a few questions about renovations she told me all AFH lottery apts kitchen and bathrooms are renovated (she sent pics of example finished) and that most of them are being renovated right before move in. She also told me she personally thinks I should definitely accept the offer as the price range for what I was getting was really good. Feel free to ask me anything else as I go through the process

I wonder why they didn't send a one bedroom. Did they give any explanation?

Congrats Cuseorange! It was a long wait but it worked out in the end =) I think you are right with the price to proximity to the oval because someone else is right in your building ~$1500 (including ac fee) for a 1bedroom as well. I think the kitchen and bathroom will have the same “lottery finish” renovations.

I think that just happened to be the only model they had available virtually.
