FYI- I was contacted today that the "senior" reviewer looked at my file and they asked for April venmo, and a couple of other statements to be updated. My deadline is Friday to submit those things. Next step is the city I assume.

Is there really no deposit required if chosen for this particular lotto? On Housing Connect it says "No deposits/application fees." sounds too good to be true.

You pay the fee for the background/credit check obviously based on how far you get.

There is still a security deposit equal to 1 months rent if that's what you mean (some buildings are offering a concession of a lowered security deposit but that will vary). I think that note is regarding an application, brokers, or other fee (or deposit) to put the apartment on "hold", none of which apply to the lotto apartments.

After back and forth with tons of extra paperwork requests, I finally got invite to come view an apartment! I had log #4XX. I was scared that since I'm at the top of the income range that the math wouldn't work out, but so far so good.

Just came from seeing 2 different studio apartments they told me I'm guaranteed one... the studios are small but they are stunning kitchen is nice with dishwasher built in the cabinetry and a built in slide out garbage can under the sink...marble bathroom floors with light up mirrors 2 head shower... storage space built into the walls in the bathroom and a big 2 way mirror medicine cabinet in the back of the bathroom door ...floors to ceiling window... in unit washer dryer...a coat closet and a big walk in closet ...and and central heat and ac built into the walls its just the living space is small

Great vid goku23! One will really needs to get creative with the living room/bedroom, but the space and views are great nonetheless.
