Sadly a log number in the 4XXX's doesn't appear will make the cut!

I wouldn't be so sure! There are a lot of units available and the vast majority of applicants do not end up making it to the end of the process for a host of reasons. It will take a while (several months at least) but you very well may still have a shot.

Yup, that's all you can do! Personally, I've been contacted for buildings with fewer than 10 units with logs in the 2-4k and this building obviously has way more units. Try not to think about it too much and just see what happens!
