Congrats! Is your unit on 227 West? Do you opt-in for paying the amenities fee? If so, may I know how much? I heard it's $230/mo if you wanna use all amenities including swimming pools indoor & outdoor.
Nope I’m in 27 eagle where we can’t use any of those amenities. If we all continuously ask, they may change their minds.
Got it! I wonder whether 27 Eagle is connected to 227 West & 1 Eagle internally? Does 27 Eagle have its own entrance & lobby & you can't access 227 West/1 Eagle from within the building? From the outside 27 Eagle seems to be connected to 227 West but I'm not sure

I have to say the apartment i got has really nice appliances. Rent in New York City is so expensive right now that this is really wonderful compared to what’s available to the general public.
The rent has really gotten out of hand. RS 1 bed units are mostly at 1,700 now which is crazy. A studio is now 1,400 to 1,500.

27 eagle is connected to 1 eagle and 227 west I live here for almost a week now. Zero complaints you can walk to either lobby they all connected.
Oh great! And congrats! How do you like it so far?
If all buildings are inter-connected, it doesn't make sense that the building management doesn't give 27 Eagle residents any option to use the amenities if they are willing to pay the fee

I heard the apartments at 27 eagle are bigger than 227 west. That being said, the studio they showed me was so tiny and next to the trash room. I was luckily upgraded to a one bedroom. They should charge people way less for the studios.
Yes I felt like they were trying to pressure me to just take it and I'm like this is ridiculously tiny for 2200. I will gladly be waitlisted, no amount of amenities will make me live in an overpriced box.
