I don't know why, but I love to read posts about poor doors, the projects, and supportive housing. Seriously speaking, if I had to go through a "poor door" to an apartment on the 72nd floor, evenly laid out and with amazing views, I wouldn't care But I know that lottery apartments in poor door buildings come with views to a brick wall, no W/D, and less than standard appliances.

Well I can objectively say you will get in unit w/d and decent appliances but it might just be in a weird a** layout and you can only go as high 31. I really hope they prove me wrong.

There were other lotteries with weird layouts as well: 57 VIA and even The Summit have those interesting layouts for both market rates and not. But I do agree that Brooklyn Crossing’s apartments and layouts are beautiful so I wouldn’t blame you if you don’t go through with it

Yeah, I’m curious to see how this plays out but I’m definitely NOT running to pay an additional $400 a month in rent. Lifetime should be at BC next year, the only amenity I care about.
I haven’t toured BC, but based on images others have posted of their visits, I would not trade BC for BK Tower. But if you do… ask if your lease can be reassigned to me lol
Looking at the exterior of the building, it does seem like something bad is going to happen lol
