Log 31xx hoping for 2 bedroom: yesterday got a request to submit documents through housing connect portal. Submitted two hours later. Last night received an email from agency requesting A LOT more documentation (like copies of current lease and bank statements). Just submitted this morning. I’ll keep this thread posted! Thank you!

Yep. For my kid, the biggest bear was an explanation for EVERY deposit in the checking account for the last 6 months - He created a spreadsheet. There were dozens, some were easy (payroll), some were tricky (reimbursement from a friend for Ticketmaster tickets) - then they asked for his Ticketmaster information lol.

Just give them what they want, when they want it and you'll be fine.

Good luck!

Some people have a side hustle buying and selling tickets. They want to know where every dollar comes from.

I will say, however, that some marketing agents are much more thorough than others.

This part is so true. I got all the way through the process with a building before declining when offered a lease to move forward with a better building and I had never even been asked to explain any deposits, never asked for venmo or paypal statements etc. Some agents care a lot, some care 0.

All good points! I am 130% AMI - but I think we all are that AMI...? There is no CB preference. What is your log number? I am eligible for the 2 bedroom, so maybe that has made a small difference? The agency just emailed me: "Your file has been assigned to an eligibility specialist. It may take at least four weeks before you hear back from them due to document submissions being processed in log number order."

Also, check your spam folder!

I got the initial email, but not the eligibility specialist

Do you have a special circumstance related to income? What kind of additional documentation did they request?

Hey all!

My log number is 33xx and my bracket would only allow me to try to aim for a studio. Based on the replies here, I might get called in to submit documents soon (fingers crossed!). Can anyone share what they initially requested so I can have those documents ready? I’m seeing they’re super thorough so having any insight to prep ahead of time would be super helpful!

Thanks in advance
