Ashes24 I ranked 327. I believe it is the senior assistant as the starting pay is 44,504 &$3697 locality pay. Im wondering how fast the process is from interview to hire. Good luck! I believe this list is from the test given almost 4 years ago. I retook the test last year 324 on the entry level exam and 374 on the senior test. Decisions Decisions!

According to the Notice of Examination 45-783, the starting salary for the senior CA is 35,434 + 3,697 for Downstate and 1,848 for the Upstate location. Unless, it's the wrong notice, lol.

What kind of questions do they ask on the interviews? I was called for one, and am super-nervous!

I accidentally deleted myself from the forum and lost all private messages and don't know how to get them back. Can those of you I have spoken with privately and given my eamil address to get back to me that way please. And if you have the old messages and it is not too much trouble, will you forward them to me.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Default hi

I also keep being called for interviews...more than you, but not getting the job. Someone suggested to me that I should not plan to ever be hired because when they look at me they see an old person. It was suggested to me that I should dye my hair.

Hopefully I will be called by someone who also has grey hair and appreciates the knowledge that we older people have. I don't go for fake.

Hi nom, sorry to hear that. I have not yet had an in-person interview. Since i live on long island, the two courts in Buffalo both offered me telephone interviews. Maybe you can request one and not have to worry about dying your hair.

I got a canvass letter from suffolk county today.
Also, last week i got one from the 9th judicial district which i have to reply to by monday.

Have you gotten any canvasses from NYC? That's what I am hoping for.

At least we got good news in that the list has been extended (its on the NYS courts website if you havent seen it yet)
