Maybe check out city line or cypress hills. More so Hispanic than black, but maybe you can find something in your price range there.

Man, Brooklyn has become the in place to be for last 10 years. If it was 2001, you probably could still afford to live in Fort Greene or Prospect Heights by yourself. Hell, Crown Heights & Flatbush would be your playground in a quick second.

If it makes any difference to you, it's mostly island Hispanics. The black section would be towards Atlantic ave and south of it. I would imagine that anywhere by b'way junction would be the cheapest rents.
