But that is the problem right there. You have already preconceived notions. You are the type to create the tension. Immediately, you are making up scenarios in your mind about your girlfriend being undressed. You already have your guard up and whether you know it or not, your speech and action will follow. And what happens next? You become belligerent, police with their ego react to your belligerence and somebody gets hurt in the process. All because of your preconceived thoughts that is transmitted through your actions and speech.

What you are not understanding, and from a LEO’s point of view, is that we have arresting powers. Although we are supposed to protect and serve, you will have officers that over reach just like any other person over reaches at their job. It doesn’t make it right but the officer is equipped and trained to subdue and decapitate you and take your freedom away. It’s not a fair fight. If you have issues, handle it the legal way, not with resistance. Your passive resistance equates to take downs and strikes by the officer which is legal according to the use of force continuum.

P.S. its not about being sheep and obeying the law while allowing abuse to continue. its about not risking your life and to walk away knowing the legal system is on your side to use. Spending a day in jail is not worth the pain and sorrow your family will experience as a result of your boldness.

Time and place for everything.

I was surprised and encouraged to see the very conservative National Review run this article: It's Time for Conservatives to Stop Defending Police | National Review Online

Regardless of what your politics are it should not be controversial that it is bad for police to murder people.
