The interview was pretty straightforward. The lady who helped me was a sweetheart, made sure I had all my documents, had me do some additional paperwork, answered any questions I had as best as she could. That's about it; all the papers will be sent to where they need to go and I wait for a call back. What's weird is that I confirmed with her that the units I'm eligible for are market rate, which makes me wonder what's the point of renting a market rate unit via lottery?

Best of luck next week!

Full price and technically not "affordable housing".

Yes! I had my interview Tuesday. The lady (forgot her name) stated they are trying to get everyone in by the end of October. When I first applied my boyfriend and I were working different jobs so she already had an apartment selected based on that income. Low and behold we don't qualify now because he's working and I don't start my new job till Monday so we're less then what was stated on the application. But she did say for me to appeal the decision and come in with an employer letter stating my salary showing we do qualify. So fingers crossed! Just waiting for the rejection letter to file the appeal.

How long does it take to get a rejection letter or acceptance letter? Are you community preference ?

I hope it works out for you -- good luck. I was told I'm eligible for a unit and checked it out today. It's nice, but I don't know if it's worth the price I'd be paying at the highest income bracket.
