Legit question.

What will the shut down do that isn't technically already taking place anyways? Besides maybe the MTA shutting down. What else is it?

I mean is the shut down going to be some type Handmaid's Tale type of situation or is it going to be implementing a curfew like the one that Gov Cumo was traumatized with as his kid and his younger brother never followed?

Default It's actively idiotic to close other Covid threads

Does your ISP charge you by the thread or something? I had a poll running that could have generate data some could feel useful.

I understand the need for moderation. But too much moderation stifles useful discussion, and you're getting there.

ok, i guess we have to wait till that happens or it did happen but not written up?

since the summer is coming.....

. . .what about being in a room with a bunch of folk + air conditioning --
is it going to blow "the chinese virus" (hereinafter "TCV") all around us and up our nose?

or even the "TCV" + room + folk + fan?

For the first time in over 35 years I am going to make Kool Aide. I just got a craving for it. I bought gallons of water and it just looks so plain. Grape or Cherry ?

I can work from home, and there is no work-related travel outside the city in the foreseeable future. I am getting cabin fever already! Long walks, random web surfing, and movies on cable. Thats about it.

I'm also working from home and preparing my child to start remote learning on Thursday.
I hope I can get through that, really hoping it's not a headache. It's the only thing I am nervous about (I am not good at teaching lol)
Since I am still working I haven't had a chance to start bingeing anything yet, so I am hoping to find something with many seasons and hour long episodes that's good, any suggestions?

I have been having many facetimes and phone calls with my mom, sister, girlfriends, and cousins lol. I do this on the regular but we have been home and bored for the most part so the amount of calls have increased.

My sister and I are talking about July 4th plans, we rent a home in the Hamptons every year so we are being optimistic and starting to plan that.

Being home is allowing me to have more home cooked meals since I can start cooking at 3-4pm and have dinner ready by 5-6pm and not being utterly exhausted after coming home.

Tonight we are having breakfast for dinner so we're having homemade Belgian waffles, eggs, bacon, fruits, and waffle toppings. This definitely something I would reserve for a long weekend but now we get to do it on a Tuesday night lol.

I'm still walking my dog 3 times a day so I'm still going outside and it seems regular out there to me lol. I'm not going crazy yet. I think maybe after a week I will though lol.

Strangely I don't remember this type of lock down
Because 12,469 Deaths from 60 million infected is 0.02%
Covid-19 Has much higher death rate.
