Are they going to ban people from wearing scarves in winter around their faces too??

You cannot legally ban a person from wearing a mask, don't be absurd.

Nope, it's COMPLETELY useless in protecting you. Keep wearing one for the rest of your life if it helps you sleep at night knowing you are somehow getting protected. But it's useless, I tell ya!

Just like the healthcare workers who wore them while caring for COVID patients

My Wine Store, Mr. Wright, still demands masks, as does the Key Food in my building for entry, so I wear mine. Also my co-op demands masks in common areas and elevators and I comply. I don't want any fights with my fellow cooperators.

Nice, though, to hang it round my neck while walking on the street because long mask wearing causes my nose to run.

Same here. My bldg juts gave notice that despite the new CDC guidelines, mask wearing & social distancing is still on. Ditto my mom's bldg.

I couldn't imagine paying to live in a place that dictates that I must wear a mask in my own home. Sick.

In our own apartment, it's ok to take off our mask, but when roaming around the building, such as hallways, elevators, laundry room, etc, the building requires us to put on a mask.

A lot of buildings are doing this. Ours does. How enforceable this is, especially in rentals, is questionable.

But its not the city that requires it.
