What did Texas and Florida do?????

It's WASHINGTON DC that won't close the border!! You expect the southern states to continue to be the "shock absorber" for this travesty??

Adams ‘welcomes’ 200 El Paso migrants a day from fellow Dem mayor — but slams Abbott buses

Mayor Eric Adams agreed to “welcome” migrants sent to the Big Apple by a Democratic counterpart in Texas — despite harshly denouncing Republican Gov. Greg Abbott over a similar relocation program, The Post has learned.

The deal — which sees the city embrace as many as 200 new arrivals a day — also came as Adams repeatedly blamed the ongoing influx of migrants for overwhelming the city’s shelter system, which he said Wednesday was “nearing its breaking point.”

200 per day
1,400 per week
5,600 monthly
67,000 by September 2023
672,000 by 2030-2032 decade

100-200 million yearly
1 billion by 2030-2032

Kirsten Gillibrand wants to send NYC migrants to upstate cities like Buffalo, Rochester, Niagara Falls and Binghamton

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand wants to help solve the Big Apple’s shelter crisis by relocating newly arrived migrants to upstate cities — which could use the population boost to qualify for pork-barrel federal funds as she seeks reelection, The Post has learned

Hall and discussed it with Mayor Eric Adams on Tuesday during a closed-door meeting in Washington, a source familiar with the matter said.

The senator has also contacted Gov. Kathy Hochul’s office to seek her support, a second source told The Post.

City Councilmember Gale Brewer (D-Manhattan) confirmed Gillibrand recently pitched the idea to her as well.

“She told me that arrangements could be made for housing assistance, childcare, school assistance and working,” Brewer said. “She seemed to feel this is a solution for some who might want to go.”

Kind of ironic, since the bourgeoisie liberals of NYC all vote for policies that are pro illegal immigrant, and NYC is a "sanctuary city".

You NY'ers gotta make up your minds. Either accept illegals or don't.

If you're not going to be a sanctuary city, then don't advertise that fact.
If you're not going to take in illegals, then stop voting for policies and parties (Democrat party) that exacerbate illegal immigration.
In other words, use some common sense!

You guys look like a bunch of idiots and hypocrites.
The article literally says: that many of the migrants who are being bused from Texas did not want to go to New York, "Many want to go to places like Florida where the largest community of Venezuelans live.".

Texas should have asked them where they wanted to go, but since they did not, New York asked and they said Florida, so here we go. For me, that's completely rational. Or are you saying New York should force those people to stay against their will?

God forbid, we send them back to the places where they came from!!! We have enough issues with our "home grown" trouble makers, so they want to import some more??

Florida is NOT a sanctuary state.
The voter constituents of Florida do not want them, so they have to go elsewhere.

Non-citizens don't get to decide, America isn't "Have it your way", this isn't Burger King, this is a sovereign nation.

Please do. FL and Texas don't tolerate catch and release of inmates. They also have capital punishment so worthless members of society can be deleted from existence.

Of course. Federal taxpayers are already propping up Upstate enough as it is, why not send more illegals there so they get more federal gubmint cheese?

I saw photos of them smiling in Martha's Vineyard. I said to myself when they see how expensive things are, they'll run to another state. But I dunno because somehow they seem to get things like food stamps while people who struggle like me are told, "You earn too much."
