Gift Cards as a gift
I personally find them a pitiful excuse for a gift.

Left lane huggers - if you're not going to pass, move over

School buses - just hate them, killing AM and mid-afternoon traffic

Landscaping trucks - they always park in the middle of the road

.....OK, those 3 all driving related

Parents who think that their kids are the most adorable thing on planet earth and let the kids run and behaving wild without any concerns that their children are being disruptive.

Just like the other day when I was in a fancy restaurant. The parents let the kids run rampant on the aisles with no care. A patron on the other table told the parents about it. The parents told them that they are tired restraining their kids and they need some time off too. Well hello, that's why you hire a baby sitter. If you cannot afford it, don't go to fancy place to eat dinner on others's expense. You should know that before you bring your children into this world that being parents takes ALOT of sacrifice: financially, time-wise and mentally. The sacrifice includes not going to a fancy dinner if you cannot hire a babysitter.

When you call a business about an issue and you get transferred around in a circle, and no one solves your problem?

Example: My newspaper subscription payment left my bank account on 12/12/14. For the last 3 days, I have had no paper because they never received it. The bank says, we sent it. The paper says they didn't get it, so all I need to do is resend it, so it is coming out of my account twice, until the stop payment the bank promised me kicks in. My newspaper needs to get out of the dark ages and join the electronic age. Arrrgh.

As constant yakking on or checking of the mobile phone goes beyond a peeve and right on into full-on offense in its rudeness, I'll say gum-snapping. When I hear that snap, crackle, pop, I want to slap the gum right out of the person's mouth. Just STOP IT.

Lately something else has annoyed me: These slovenly middle-aged people, usually women, who shuffle around supermarkets in sweatpants, hunched over, leaning on their carts for support. If you took their carts away from them, they'd topple over. They're like, "Oh, I'm so WEARY! Must...get...to...the...Doritos..."

Okay, the world has beaten you down. Life is rough. But for the love of all that is holy, stand up straight, lift your feet, and get on with it! Maybe they annoy me because they are everything I don't want to be and bust my butt never to be.

It just irritates the hell out of me.
Oh, YES! I just want to say, "I didn't know it could be," especially when it's someone fulfilling a request as part of their job description.

There are many things that annoy me but I can simply tune them out most of the time, but the ones below are the things I truly hate because they impact so negatively in my life. I totally agree with all the following pet peeves.

2. People who change lanes or try to change lanes without signaling.

3. Slow people in the fast lane (Just because the speed limit is 55, doesn't mean going 60 mph in the left lane is fast enough)

The person who pulled out in front of them got what they had coming to them and maybe they'll think twice about pulling that crap again."

4) Drivers taking too long to go when the light is green. I've actually gotten out of my car and yelled "would you move your ducking gas?" (Yes, they moved.)

5) Driving in the left lane beside someone in the right lane, what people call "driving slow in the fast lane." With respect to road rage and how I see it, see #1 above.

Okay, basically ANYTHING that slows down traffic. I may not be in a big hurry, but I despise getting stuck behind people.

. This is especially annoying at stop lights, when the light turns green and you've got some idiot letting 5 car lengths get between them and the car ahead of them before they even start moving. Or, when you're coming up to a red stop light and you need to get in the left turn lane, but the driver in the car in front of you is going straight, and stops with the same 5 car lengths between them and the car in front of them, effectively preventing you from getting in the left turn lane before a green arrow turns red. My philosophy? Drive it or park it - you can't have it both ways!

Argh, I really can't stand your type, the self righteous "but I'm driving at the speed limit" type of guys. Facking hell, MOVE OVER

Keep right except to pass.

You're not passing. Someone wants to pass. Move to the right. It doesn't matter how fast or slow you're moving. If you're not passing, move over. It's none of your business if someone else wants to do 1000 mph over the speed limit. You're not law enforcement. You want to do 55 mph. They want to do 75 mph. Let them pass. On the left. Passing is not going .00005 mph faster than the car on your right. Going .00005 mph faster than the car on your right is a tread wear issue and you need to stay put until you find your gas pedal.

Plus, why would anyone want to drive down the road having 10 people on their tail angry and flashing lights at them?
YES!!!!!

But this isnt the place to get into a pissing contest about speed; you speed and i do not. Lets move on.
If you knew how much I despise and hate drivers like you... And the funny thing is that you don't even think you're doing something wrong, you're so out of touch.

Yes, that has happened to me a few times, some people are shameless.

Also,

People that like animals more than they do humans
Dog owners, most of the time women but men do it too, that think of their pets as their kids and love them more then they do other people

The latter is another reason why I got rid of my texting plan. Im more into having conversations and typing in the full 160 or whatever characters it was just to get "ok" just ticked me off and made me think "why do I even bother?"

This is the reason why I stopped eating out in big groups someone else (work, the host, the client) is picking up the tab. Close friends and family I don't mind some overage, but with a bunch of people and I know 3 of them, nope. Those same $12 a pop drinkers will side-eye me for ordering a dessert to go which still cost less than 1 of their 5 drinks.

Cell, phones traffic, children and adults behaving badly have been covered so I'll add:

-Doggy doo in my yard.
I love dogs. I don't love when my yard is their toilet. One person on my street with several dogs keeps them in their yard until they go and then they walk them. Bravo to them. Both my neighbors just open the door and let their dogs roam at night. Clever. Their dogs love my yard. I hate them both.

-Braggers.
I never understood people who brag how much they spend on stuff. Pretty much anything can be negotiated or acquired cheaper with patience and/or savvy. 9 x out of 10 their stuff or experiences aren't impressive at all, but they think it is so they tell all. You'd think in the era of billionaires who drive Hondas, people would refrain from doing that, but nope they name drop and flaunt as if that's suppose to impress or worse to see if you know what they are tallking about. Don't test me.

-Cable companies
Horrible customer service is a given, but why don't they ask the homeowner or get a permit before installing new lines? I'd rather not wake up to 4 men digging a trench down my lawn and spray painting DaVinci code symbols across my driveway.

-Parking Space Hogs
People who intentionally take up 2 spaces to protect their automobaby. I get parking 80 spaces away in no man's land, but if you are so paranoid that someone will ding your car, you shouldn't have it or you should have a "don't care" car to drive around. Same goes for people who watch you park to make sure you don't ding their car. Seriously? Since when is a 2002 Town and Country on the rare and desireable list?

Default Word Slang

If there's anything that drives me nuts more is when people can't speak correcly.

"I ain't got none"; "She don't like that" are just a few that come to mind, but I hear it more and more from well educated people. To me it sounds horrible and I immediately want to secretly correct them.
