The thing I love about WB is Shenna12 and some other awesome folks call it home or work there! Oh yeah, I also loved the WB/Scranton baby Pens...

I like Andy Mehalshick and think it's great that WB is tolerant enough to watch a tv reporter who has a speech impediment. TV reporters and speech impediments are not something that usually go together.

I also retract my earlier critiscm of river commons. The free circus yesterday was great. Free popcorn, stuffed animals and circus tickets was nice. Although there were a few micues overall it was an enjoyable time. Although I do think the commons is underused.

Looks like there was a nice crowd on the Commons yesterday. The T-L today says there will be a Thursday concert series, a Saturday fitness and environmental programming and now there will be a Friday outdoor movie series. The Commons will probably get more use now that warmer weather is on the way. Sitting by the river on a concrete slab in the dead of winter isn't my idea of a fun time, but that's just me. YMMV

I agree, although I can picture a Christmas light display along River Common like you have in Nay Aug, only a walking tour. Throw in vendors selling hot chocolate, cider and Christmas crafts, I think it would be a nice event.

Yesterday I was waiting for a kid to fall in the river and get swept away. The river was really moving and kids were running around close to the edge.
