Good morning, Summering! & all of nepa! Thanks for the coffee by the fire...HEY! WHOA! Someone put out my sock!!!!

Summering & George...my bf would love your xmas villages! She transforms her living room into this huge room full of villages & such...everyone loves it! She has a new (huge) puppy this year..so it should be interesting to see how long it all stands!

I have been doing Thanksgiving for about 6 years now..but no a big amount of people..It's just my family, my parents & my brother. Sometimes his kids are there too, but most often they are with their mom & we miss them. This year my mom would like to do it at her home, so I will be helping her, where usually she is helping me. OMG...she makes the best stuffing & gravy...am I drooling?!
lol...I think I was!
I can't wait!! I get much more excited about Thanksgiving than Christmas...

Yeah!! Thanks for the fire!! It was a chilly 59 out this morning at 4:30AM when our little girl woke me up to go potty!!

Yesterday I got the COOLEST catalog in the mail!!! It's got all kindsa "old-time" stuff from "Bit-O-Honey" candy to "Gumby & Pokey" to "Pond's Soap" to "Rock Candy" to oilcloth tablecloths & old-fashioned Home Remedies!!

It's really amazing & I thought y'all would like to check it out!! They have a website which doesn't list as much as is in the catalog, so call up & order a catalog & enjoy the memories!!

I'm working on putting in my first order already!! Enjoy!!

OMG!! Bit-O-Honey!! My mom loves that stuff (although now with her fake choppers that stuff is out - or her teeth are!! )

Anyway, one year for Christmas when I was a little bit, I bought her a whole box of those! She still talks about that gift and how much she liked it!!

Speaking of "old-time" stuff, does anyone know if Shrinky Dinks are still made? I was telling my kids how I played with those with my best friend growing up, and now they want to get some!! TIA!!

This very bossy buck was behind my house...he's been a regular....he lasy down the law with the women....I cut up one apple and I was throwing pieces to him and 2 females....he huffed and stompd at them and they didn't touch the apple...he walked around and ate every piece, even though I threw it in all 3 directions.
