Today’s Question(s):

Have you ever visited Australia? Yes.

If yes, what did you like best and what did you like least about it? Loved the food and the friendliness of the people. We went to Sydney, Cairns, the Great Barrier Reef, and Canberra. Very scenic, very laid back like the US was once in the 1950's. Nothin bad as I recall.

If no, is it on your ‘bucket list’? I won’t get upset if you say it’s not! I'd return in a minute if I could.

Extra Credit Question:

If the Travel Fairy could magically transport you to Australia at no cost, and with no flying or jet lag, what would you most like to see? Perth, Melbourne and Ayers Rock.

Native animals – koalas, kangaroos, wombats, emus, kookaburras, etc. Been there saw them.
Beaches. They're beautiful, clear and clean.
Great Barrier Reef. Went there, fantastic voyage and underwater sights.
Uluru (Ayers Rock) Would like to visit.
Sydney. Terrific city, lots to see and do there. Circular Quay and the Rocks were fun.
Melbourne. Would like to visit sometime.
Outback. Would like to travel through and rough it..
Other: Anywhere the travel fairy wants to take me.

Bonus Question:

John F. Kennedy was assassinated on this day in 1963. Are you old enough to remember the event? Oh yes, everyone was upset and crying. It was a life changing and country altering moment.

Most people who are old enough, remember where they were and what they were doing when they heard the news. Where were you, and what were you doing? It was the first day that I started at a new job at a Walgreens and was so upset I quit and went home and watched the events that were taking place, on TV, for at least 3 days. Saw Jack Ruby get shot, the JFK funeral, little John Jr saluting his dads procession, etc.

Just for Fun:

What would you rather do?

(a) Play a round of golf on a pleasantly warm day... boring
or
(b) Ride a snowmobile on a freezing cold day...no way, hate cold weather.

(c) I rather go bowling any day.

Great questions today Kobber...
