We snuck in, in the back of a station wagon, covered up with blankets. But we did get to see Midnight Cowboy and Easy Rider, along with Bonnie and Clyde that way.

Atomic radiation created a lot of monsters in the 1950s, e.g., the Beast from 20,000 Fathoms, Tarantula, Them, the 50 Ft. Woman, Monster From Green Hell, the Shrinking Man, the Beast of Yucca Flats, the Colossal Man, the Giant Gila Monster, and many others.

Every time I drive by locations where there once was a drive-in movie theater I think of going there with all our friends. The cashier at the booth never seemed to quite figure out, that most teenagers and 20s have a trunk full of kids ! Most teenagers aren't going to the drive in's alone ! Fun times
I'm so old I remember... At the Drive In Holloweenie special the monster movies... and us with the scary masks.. peeping in windows that were fog over from the love pit sweets.. and banging on the side of the door.. or jumping up and down on those big wide chrome bumpers.. then running like H
