Tang. Rember when first came on the mkt.1959/60. I worked in a chain mkt and we had a case at the cash register as samples for the customers. Assist mgr gave me a case since i had a brood at home. It has been around a while but not overly advertiised.

I'm so old I remember... Just about everything came in glass.. and to open a any can you needed a P-38 - Can Opener - or Church key.. the same key used on Oil Cans & Beer Cans

I'm so old I remember the 70s.
That is not long ago, but a friend of mine, born in 1984, thinks I am old because I remember a time when a nearby suburb was just a little farming village with chicken on the street and moose in the backyard.

Church key....not sure when it was invented and then on to the current pull tab. Recall removing beer bottle caps on the edge of the car bumper......cans opened with my Army issued can opener tied to a small chain along with my dog tags.gosh I'm really old compared to some youngens here.
