I'm pretty sure my husband was there when he was a kid.

First thing switched on?
light

Constantly cleaning fingerprints off of?
I don't know if it's fingerprints, but the stainless steel front dishwasher is the hardest surface to keep clean it seems.

Wild food?

Karla - Davethefox's description is priceless and absolutely true! I sure wish I would have had this article a long time ago. The other one that just me is lefse. Tastes like a rolled up newspaper - all you taste is what you put on it - jam, butter, sugar/cinnamon. I was told by some rabid Nowegian co-workers once that I wasn't a very good Norwegian. My dad was British, so I guess I got those taste buds.

Have a good day!!

Today's Question(s):

I've been on many websites that have it on there, and I've flown by it... on the flight simulator.. Does that count? - No, I've never been there.

Bonus Question:

Is there one thing or area around your home you are constantly cleaning fingerprints off of ?
No, unless I'm trying to hide the evidence... - I'm just kidding, I live by myself, so I don't leave too much evidence..

Extra Credit Question:

What is the first "switch" you turn on in the morning ?
Coffee maker
Computer
Light
Usually the light switch.. especially this time of the year (shorter daylight hours), so I won't hit my toes on anything.. <bump> OUUUUCH!..

Just for Fun:

What is the "wildest food" you have ever eaten ?
Road-Kill? - Just kidding - Wildest, is that game meat like venison, quail, wild turkey, and other game animals and birds?

Been there, done that.

Bonus Question:
Is there one thing or area around your home you are constantly cleaning fingerprints off of ?

The back door. Full glass door and 4 boys 12 years old and under don't mix. Toss in a nosy dog and it is marked from the bottom to the top every single day.

Extra Credit Question:
What is the first "switch" you turn on in the morning ?
Coffee maker
Computer
Light

Lights. No coffee for me.

Just for Fun:
What is the "wildest food" you have ever eaten ?

Wildest as in spicy: "Gringo Killer Chili" from a Spanish friend of mine, or his Mom's Tamale's, they are both about a tie. (Heavy on the Habanero, Serrano, and Poblano peppers)
Wildest as in wild game: Maybe rattlesnake. Kind of hard to narrow it down, if it is cooked meat I will try it.

Today in History:
1636 - The Massachusetts General Court provided 400 pounds to support a school or college, and so, Harvard University was founded in Cambridge, MA.
400 pounds? Hmmm.... That must have been a very heavy, and a strong student, to support that school...

Today is:
Wild Foods Day
Why didn't they just call it "Tastes like chicken" day..

In honor of Statue of Liberty Day

How many of our QOTD family have been to see the Statue or Liberty ? I have many years ago, it wasn't worth climbing the narrow staircase in a single file to the crown. It was a hot summer day loaded with tourists, you get to the top and take a few snapshots, then you have to keep moving along. I've always wanted to go up to the torch though, but it was closed for the longest time.

Is there one thing or area around your home you are constantly cleaning fingerprints off of ? Computer screen, daughter can't keep her little fingers off of it.

Extra Credit Question:

What is the first "switch" you turn on in the morning ? Bathroom light.

Just for Fun:

What is the "wildest food" you have ever eaten ? Alligator, eel, rattlesnake.
