Gotta jump back on the "Why I hate Phoenix" bandwagon...

I hate that nearly every day in Phoenix is a good day to have ice cream. Not only that, but there are too many flavors to choose from! How am I going to deal with having more than 10 "good day to have ice cream" days in a year? My brain is going to explode when faced with a choice between 60 ice cream flavors instead of 7!

Default Love/Hate AZ

The person that criticized AZ should heed the words spoken in the movie Bambi. "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all".

I moved to AZ from the state of Washington which I consider to be a terrible place to live. Windstorms, rain, snow, floods, earthquakes, erupting volcanoes, tsunamis.....Did I leave something out? How about terrible weather!

The gov is trying to raise teacher salaries. Still, a starting teacher salary is a little less than 3 times minimum wage. It's more than I make now. I'm working on my certification so that I can teach and I'm not complaining. Though, are you implying that there are still families who try to live off of 1 income? That's almost unheard of anymore, in Phoenix anyway.

I don't even get why people are negative about any place. Like you said, to each his/her own, and whoever hates a place, don't go there. There are plenty of people who don't consider moving anywhere else because we do see value in what others consider to be trash. Maybe those who hate Phoenix left an old flame behind here and are bitter

LOL! I don't think so. The article says that it's private investors though, so not supported by taxpayers (unlike the stadiums grrrr)
