The gov is trying to raise teacher salaries. Still, a starting teacher salary is a little less than 3 times minimum wage. It's more than I make now. I'm working on my certification so that I can teach and I'm not complaining. Though, are you implying that there are still families who try to live off of 1 income? That's almost unheard of anymore, in Phoenix anyway.

I don't even get why people are negative about any place. Like you said, to each his/her own, and whoever hates a place, don't go there.
