Do You Believe Than Science Can Create Humans?

For this poll I am not concerned about the hows or the morals, I just want to know if you believe we can or can't right now, or if you think we will ever be able.

Nope. They shouldn't be trying either. Giving and Taking of life should be left up to God.

Not with the present technology. Even in vitrio fetuses need a female womb to develop into an air breathing mammal. If the inventors could create a “uterine replicator” (from Lois Bujold’s SF writing) it would have some really interesting effects on human society.

It sounds like you think we will someday, yes?

Shouldn't be trying I don't think they ever will get there either.

Aliens have a better chance of showing up.

Probably yes. They have cloned animals so I figure probably in the next 20-30 years they will be able to.

Since it would take billions of years make one out of scratch (and you would never be sure what you set out to make would turn into a human) why would anyone try?

I feel safe in stating that from the OP's perspective cloning would simply not do. I believe the question requires a human being created out of only base elements.
