It was in the Politics section of the NYT Sunday. Maybe it should have been in the Religion section.
Clip:
The overwhelmingly white and largely middle-aged crowd Saturday was a mix of groups that have come together under the Tea Party umbrella. While Tea Party groups have said they want to focus on fiscal conservatism, not religion or social issues, the rally was overtly religious. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/08/29/us...html?th&emc=th
This link shows the front page of a number of our daily papers from Sunday. It is almost sickening unless you are a lefty or some other type of progressive. What a print media we are living with. Don't look if you are one of the people I mentioned above. You folks won't see anything wrong with these reports.

Maybe you could enlighten us as to what is wrong with the coverage Beck got from the Sunday papers in your link? They were all positive headlines and he should be very pleased as you should be as his number one fan.
Did The Beck Rally Change America And Do A Miracle? Ummm….No
The people who attended were clearly there for a red-meat tossing tirade about how the evil Socialist President Obama and the handmaidens of Satan – aka The Democratic Party – were destroying America. What they got instead was a long-form Christian revival meeting combined with a military recruiting show. The message was pretty clear and nothing new – “If America doesn’t turn toward God we’re all doomed!” combined with speaker after speaker pretty much fetishizing the military.
If we judged the authenticity and value of the person that is center stage by the gawkers and crowds that they draw, then Britney Spears should run for office. Beck is a fraud.
Most have us have come to realize that the "fraud" has been perpetrated by the left and people like your boy, Obama. America is waking up and the left is running scared.

One theme that is consistent among all these liberal rags is their "race" baiting. Every one of them describe the rally as "nearly all white" in yet another attempt to paint all those who disagree with them as "racist." You will never see the same media descibing Sharpton's event as "nearly all black", nor will you see them describe those who attend a museum event or the opera as "nearly all white." They only classify conservatives by the color of their skin in order to foster hatred and divisiveness and push their anti-American agenda.
How do you define "elite" - seems that it's people you fear because of either education or differing opinions.
Oh, the elite are leftists.
Okay, what does that make the right?
Nope, the people we fear are people like you running our country into the ground....
I , too, was discouraged at the lack of reporting...But that just goes to show how stupid people are!
