Does this also mean that people who are sexually attracted to their blood related members are born to have incest or are people born to be sexually attracted to animals or corpses? If people start thinking that, does this mean we'll have to accept people who molest children or people who have sex with animals? Right now those sexual thoughts except for homosexuality are considered to be mental disorders, sexual disorders and deviant. Homosexuality used to be considered sick and deviant as well, why isn't it anymore?

Give me an explanation as to WHY you think homosexuals are born homosexual and why you are so certain that people are born as homosexuals.
Well, of course, FEELINGS are all that matter.

If you are heterosexual, do you "feel" you could decide to be otherwise?

Actually if you look at it biologically it would make sense that men would be born homosexual.

A male fetus in a female body is a foreign concept while a female fetus in a female body is a similar concept. If the fetus is male, evidence is starting to show that the female body in some cases treats it as an invader and invades it with massive quantities of estrogen etc. It tries to counteract the presence of testosterone at the levels found in a male.

Studies are showing that the more children a woman has, particularly male children, the higher the likelihood the higher the chance the child will be gay. If a woman has 3 men, the chances that the 3 male is gay is significantly higher than if she has 3 female children.

What this is showing is that homosexuality is not necessarily genetic, but it does appear to have biological roots.

(FYI the results of this study are soon to be published in a peer reviewed journal, I had the opportunity to hear them at a recent meeting I attended).

Thats a stretch LOL The more children a woman has the more likely anything could happen and a male fetus is not a foreign concept at all if a female only had a female fetus we wouldn't be here LOL I wouldn't brag about being part of that study.

As a gay man, sometimes I wish we hadn't slaughtered the Indians and their culture had been allowed to dominate our land.

Many Native American cultures viewed it as a great honor to have a homosexual in the family. They saw homosexuals as people of "two spirits" - uniquely possessing both masculine and feminine wisdom. Orphaned children were entrusted to them (hummmm - this is also seen in nature, I wonder if it might exemplify a reason why homosexuality might benefit a population and is genetically selected for and preserved? - just a thought). Homosexuals were often given tribal positions of authority - shaman or chief.
I didn't know that. Really cool. Thanks for sharing.

ohhhh hold up there I am Native American and uhh no not all of us believed that, My tribe did not recognize this, only few tribes such as the Ojibwa, and lakota it didnt always necessarily mean they were gay they had lost their masculinity at some point and did womens work to gain thier status back within the tribe. Also many tribes had laws against this. It is known that in certain tribes a relationship between a two-spirit and non-two-spirit was seen on the most part as neither heterosexual nor homosexual but more "hetero-gender," Europeans however saw them as being homosexual. Partners of two-spirits did not experience themselves as "homosexual," and moreover drew a sharp conceptual line between themselves and two-spirits so it wasnt sexual. you can look it up there is more on this stuff s certain plains tribes did that. I also hate when people who dont know anything about native people want to just lump us all in together as one, we are all different, different beliefs different traditions different people.
