It's not good for the party and it is not good for blacks but it is what it is. I have white friends who have ask this same question and I tell them to look at the Republican convention and ask them why there are so very few minorities in attendance. People vote for which group serves there needs the best. I personally can't see how any Republican and say the party has any agenda for black America. Blacks have taken the good and the bad from the Democratic party but there is something to hang your hat own. Only when the Republican party needs the black vote will the ask for it. I don't see it happening anytime soon. They will go after the hispanic vote first because they can't afford for them to go all Democrat like the blacks have.
the democrats have all minorities bussy collecting their welfare check from generation to generation it is so sad but so true. they are enslaved all over agian and they dont even know it

The (D) strategy is effective, in the sense that pandering to minorities works in getting them to vote for you.

You have to realize that the (D) party cares about Big Government and its own power, 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

If you want to call it that, the 'advantage' Democrats have is that they have no concern for the country, whatsoever. If they did, they would not have rammed through Obamacare or be pushing for amnesty, the DREAM Act, cap and trade, card check and the rest of their agenda. I call it an advantage in the sense that it makes it easier for the (D)s to win b/c they will do WHATEVER it takes to win, REGARDLESS of negative impact on the country. I don't think it's so much that Democrats hate America and are destroying it on purpose. My take is that (D)s want power and, if obtaining more power for them is bad for America, so be it.

See, I can't get a straight answer without someone being a smart ass or condescending. Why would I be interested in being a part of that?

You have to keep in mind that (in general) conservative voters don't separate people into blocks based on race, gender, religion etc and then pander to each group one-by-one.

My answer was that CONSERVATIVE Republicans (as opposed to the likes of GWB, Charlie Crist, etc) promote Economic policies that are good for the nation at large. These policies will benefit people of all ethnic backgrounds.

Why don't you give us a good answer... what (D) policies have been beneficial to African Americans (and in what ways)?

When you ask a preposterous and inflammatory question, you shouldn't be surprised to receive dismissive and angry responses.

Yes, very actively before and during the Civil War. After the war of course there was no slavery to support, but the Dixiecrats were solidly against equal rights for former slaves.
Let me guess, "all American" means Republican = more patriotic = more intelligent = more grounded = conservative = better American than Democrat, that about sum it up? So you posed a question which you assumed couldn't be answered by the dumb opposition.
Minorities vote liberal! "Liberal" is not synonymous with "Democrat"! The dems were conservative at one point. News flash -there are conservatives in the Democratic Party today! The people in the south who stood in schoolhouse doors to keep blacks from getting an education were conservatives! The Democrats of the 1850's called themselves the "white man's party" and represented the majority white population of the south. Democrats controlled the southern states all through the early 1900s. The (new) Republican Party was the party of minority rights and was opposed by the white southern majority. The civil rights acts after the 1930's caused the parties to morph into the differences we have today.
Today's voter, whether minority or otherwise, votes platform & affiliation! The liberal platform is now entrenched in the Democratic party, except for the "blue dogs". Neo-conservative values of rule by wealth and privilege (plutocracy) are embodiments of today's Republican Party. Can you see why minorities vote the way they do?

It doesn't make it any less plausible. It's the only language understood by them apparently, being inflammatory.
