Yes, very actively before and during the Civil War. After the war of course there was no slavery to support, but the Dixiecrats were solidly against equal rights for former slaves.

Because the Democrats give away the Treasury's $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ in exchange for the vote and they don't mind selling their vote and soul out for other people's $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

You're right, it isn't different, Republicans are hypocrites on this issue. Both parties give handouts to their supporters. If Republicans want to hold the "moral upper hand" on handouts, they need to eliminate farm subsidies, tax loopholes and deductions for businesses, and eliminate Social Security payments that go above what a person contributed plus interest.

Forgot to emphasize that the city proper went for Obama, to the surprise of the local powers-that-be. Probably due to the growing hispanic worker class.
Don't know why they couldn't see it coming.

They'd have to step out of their collective "Middle Class Homogeneous Social Bubbles" to realize what is REALLY happening to their community.

If I read this gushy article correctly, it looks as though even more govt money is coming to Holland.

Got it?
In most states, an absentee ballot requires no picture identification.

Besides, MY question is, why get illegals to vote when you can commit fraud?

In some states there are in fact documented instances of voter fraud -
