Is anyone really surprised that the MSM will do all they can to try and convince people that a majority of American's are FOR unions, when virtually every previous poll, before this controversy, said the exact opposite?
Oh please, the reason why it is different is because what is being done and asked is different. The public generally favors Union concessions, they do not favor taking most collective bargaining rights away.
I wouldn't call a 10 month debate, with a 60 member vote in the Senate to over ride the R filibuster "ramming kit down the nation's throat." Kind of different than trying to push a sweeping bill through in a few days with no debate at all (plus giving the d's in the house the wrong vote time so they couldn't even show up to debate it), don't you think?
Leaving a bit off, aren't you? Using procedural tricks (reconciliation) to get it passed, something never before done with such a massive piece of legislation.

The health care bill itself was not passed through reconciliation. The changes to the bill is what was passed through reconciliation.
I'm betting Walker's staff and some of his political allies (if not Walker himself) are hoping those moderate R's come through to block the bill and he doesn't have to take the heat for the layoffs he's promising if the vote doesn't happen tomorrow. He's got himself into a bit of a pickle here.

The wording of the poll is an issue as well. If people are made aware of what happens to their tax dollars under CB, they have a different answer.
LOL, that's why it is called leadership, doing what is right without concern for personal consequences.
No bid contracts, creating a larger deficit through tax cuts for wealthy CEO's, going after Collective Bargaining Rights of some, but not those who supported you.....

Oh yeah push polling....
